ADRE 2025 Daily Study Routine
Daily Breakdown (Approx. 7-8 Hours of Focused Study)
This routine is designed for intensive preparation. Short breaks (5-10 minutes) should be taken every 1-1.5 hours to maintain focus.
Morning Session (Deep Focus & Concept Building): 3.5 Hours
- 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM: General Knowledge - Core Subjects (1.5 Hours)
- Focus: In-depth study of Indian History, Geography, and Politics.
- Rotation:
- Monday/Thursday: Indian History (Ancient/Medieval/Modern)
- Tuesday/Friday: Indian Geography & Economy
- Wednesday/Saturday: Indian Politics (Constitution, Polity, Governance)
- Sunday: Revision of the week's GK topics.
- Tip: Focus on understanding concepts rather than rote memorization.
- 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM: Short Break / Quick Review
- 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM: General Mathematics - Concept Building (1.5 Hours)
- Focus: Understanding fundamental concepts and formulas for topics like Number System, Percentage, Profit & Loss, Ratio & Proportion, Simple/Compound Interest, Averages, Time & Work.
- Strategy: Pick 1-2 topics per day. Watch concept videos, read theory, and solve a few basic examples.
Afternoon Session (Application & Practice): 3 Hours
- 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Short Break
- 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM: General Knowledge - Current Affairs & Assam-Specific (1.5 Hours)
- Focus: Staying updated on National and international current affairs, plus specific regional knowledge.
- Rotation:
- Daily: National and international current affairs (from newspapers, reliable online sources).
- Monday/Thursday: Assam's History
- Tuesday/Friday: Assam's Geography
- Wednesday/Saturday: Assam's Politics & Economy
- Sunday: Static GK (Awards, Important days, National symbols, etc.)
- Tip: Make concise notes for quick revision.
- 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM: Lunch Break
- 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM: General Mathematics - Practice Questions & Tricks (1.5 Hours)
- Focus: Applying concepts learned, improving speed and accuracy.
- Strategy: Solve a variety of practice questions related to the topics covered in the morning. Learn and apply shortcut tricks. Time practice sessions to improve speed.
Evening Session (Reasoning, English & Revision/Mock Tests): 2.5 Hours
- 2:30 PM - 3:00 PM: Short Break
- 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Reasoning Ability (1 Hour)
- Focus: Sharpening problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Topics: Alternate daily between Verbal Reasoning (Analogy, Syllogisms, Statement & Conclusion) and Non-Verbal Reasoning (Counting Figures, Series, Pattern Recognition).
- Strategy: Practice 15-20 questions daily from different reasoning types.
- 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM: General English (1 Hour)
- Focus: Enhancing language proficiency.
- Topics:
- Daily: Vocabulary (Synonyms/Antonyms, Idioms & Phrases) – learn 5-10 new words/idioms.
- Alternate Daily: Grammar (Tenses, Parts of Speech, Error Spotting) or Reading Comprehension/Cloze Test practice.
- Tip: Reading English newspapers or articles daily can significantly help comprehension and vocabulary.
- 5:00 PM - 5:30 PM: Daily Review / Light Activity
- Review notes from the day.
- Plan for the next day's topics.
Weekly Mock Test & Special Focus (Sunday)
- Full Mock Test: Dedicate time on Sunday to take a full-length mock test under exam conditions (e.g., 3 hours for Grade III).
- Analysis: Spend time analyzing performance – identify strong and weak areas.
- Targeted Revision: Focus Sunday revision on topics where scores were lower in the mock test.
- Assam-Specific Deep Dive: Allocate extra time for comprehensive study of Assam's History, Geography, and Culture, as these are crucial for the exam.
